Violins come in many different price ranges. While it may be tempting to buy the lowest priced violin you can find, this is not the best way to go about shopping. The violin is a very complex instrument that relies on many parts to make the whole. To meet the lower price ranges, compromises have to be made. This is true with most things that you buy and violins are no exception.

The term "setup" is often misused. Make sure your seller is properly setting up the violin before purchasing.
