This violin is a replica of the famous King Joseph made by Guarnerius del Gesu of Cremona, Italy in 1737.

The STV-1500 comes from the famous Scott Cao workshop in Campbell California. Made by the skilled hands of international award winning makers under the supervision of master maker Scott Cao.

The STV-1500 uses Bosnia maple and Italian spruce. The finish of these instruments is applied to resemble the original violin. The beautiful oil varnish used follows the traditional methods perfected by the Italian master makers of centuries past.

Instruments made in the Campbell workshop are in the hands of advanced students and professional players.
