Each Scott Cao 850 is Master made (every piece is made by a single Master violin maker) in the Guangzhou China workshop. The 850 is made by Scott's top makers. Your violin will be signed by the maker and include a certificate of authenticity. This particular version is a copy of the 1715 "Cremonese" Stradivarius. The violin uses Italian Spruce and a Bosnian maple. The back is hand carved from a single piece. The fingerboard is Indian rosewood and the fittings are boxwood. The finish is hand applied varnish that has been distressed (antiqued). A wonderful copy of a "Golden Period" Strad.
