Rover RM-25E Acoustic-Electric Mandolin

Value in an acoustic electric mandolin. The new Rover RM-25E mandolin includes a single coil pickup that allows you to plug-in with acoustic tone, yet still help prevent feedback in high-volume situations. There is a volume and control knob in the traditional location and this has a shortened pick guard that also is used to mount the mandolin pickup.

The RM-25E uses maple for the top back, sides and neck. The body fingerboard and headstock are all bound. Surprisingly it has a bone nut, which is rare for this price point. Not bad at all for a low cost acoustic/electric mandolin.

Based on the popular Rover RM-25 A-model mandolin, the new RM-25E has all the same great features, with the added bonus of a single coil pickup—integrated into the multi-ply pick-guard and easy to reach volume and tone controls to dial in just the right sound.

  • Maple top combined with maple back and sides give the perfect tonal properties for the beginning player
  • Mahogany neck offers fast, easy action and inherently long-lasting stability
  • Tonewood fingerboard ensures silky smooth playability
  • Adjustable tonewood bridge allows player to dial-in the perfect string height with ease
  • Single coil pickup integrated into pickguard along with volume and tone controls
